Serato DJ Club Kit/DJM 900 With Turntables

Hey guys, Yesterday I wanted to play with ME, but unfortunalty my setup did some tricks on me. I started playing with a DJM 900 Nexus using the new Serato Club Kit with Turntables. On the DJM I need to connect the turntables to Channel 1 and 4. Because of this I need to play the left channel in Serato DJ on deck 1, and the right channel on deck 4 in Serato DJ. The video playback in ME on the left channel is fine, but on the right channel (deck 2 in ME) nothing is displayed, because ME expects getting the video source from deck 2, but it's deck 4 in Serato DJ. Is there a way to select the input sources from Serato DJ in ME? So for instance, ME Channel 1 is Serato Deck 1 and ME Channel 2 is Serato Deck 4... Regards from Austria,

There's no way to do this within MixEmergency, unfortunately. I would suggest that you contact Serato, as this is a feature that they would be able to implement in Serato DJ.

So Serato should make some settings like "ME Output Channels" with checkboxes?

Yeah, essentiallly what they would need is a way to make deck 1 and 4 the primary decks. They already have this feature for some hardware, but it is limited to certain decks.

I don't understand what you mean by deck 4 primary deck. ME should be able to detect which deck is the left one and which one is the right whatever number is used in SDJ

MixEmergency only receives 2 channels of data from Serato DJ / Scratch Live. These are the channels that are designated the "Primary Decks" in their software. At the moment, the channels that you can designate as "Primary Decks" are limited to certain combinations (e.g. only 1 & 2, or 2 & 3).

Just wanted to get some clarification before buying the Club Kit. Will MixEmergency work with Serato Club Kit and a DJM900/turntable setup?

If the turntables have phono outputs (and need to be on channels 1 & 4), then I believe that this won't work at the moment, as you can't set the primary channels to be 1 & 4 in Serato DJ.
