I never used to have this issue before updating to Yosemite. I am assuming that there is something with Yosemite that is causing this issue. ME 2 and ME 3 do the same thing. I have had to go through and optimize my macbook for different errors with video. I have recently had my logic board replaced form the MB 2011 Graphics issue with the ATI cards. (thank god for extended warranty) My question is this, what do I need to be trying to fix something? ME 3 seems to work worse than ME 2 (at least from what I can see from settings on my machine). Serato Video now works without tearing, which is tempting to have a smooth screen update in Serato, but I cannot give up all of the features that ME offers. I want to keep using ME, but I need to know if there's a work around or if there's an update that may be causing the waveform tearing on the display with the earlier MB Pros. I have gone through all of the "tips and tricks" I have googled every program or set up to adjust my machine for optimal performance. Any thoughts on your end?
