Vids playing fuzzy and off color with a dark bar going through them.

Over the past weekend when dj'ing with vidz using my ttm-57 and cdj's, I noticed that my vids were not displaying very clear and were fuzzy. They also had a dark black bar going through them. Everything played fine during the day when I was preparing my sets in Serato player. I was using an HDMI cable connected directly into my 15-inch MacBook Pro connected directly to the TV. This is the second time this has happened. The previous time was at another club using their HDMI cable. When I switched over to my VGA cable it was the same thing. Is there a setting I need to set in mixemergency to fix the problem?

It sounds like the Mixer FX (visual effects that are controlled via the Hi/Mid/Low controls). In MixEmergency, open the Mixer FX window and disable all of the yellow and pink buttons. You can find the Mixer FX window by going to the menu bar at the top of the screen, and selecting Window, then Mixer FX.
