having freeze frame problem when i first load up a 1080p video "1920 × 1080"

I noticed that when i play a video that i downloaded in 1080p quality it freezes on the first frame of the video or some times freezes in other frames Can ME play 1080p quality videos for now without problems or should i just stick to playing 720p "1280 x 720" videos in a 720p rate for now until theres a fix for this? i now have the latest software update 3.0.1

What computer are you using to do this? Are the freezes all when using version 3.0.1?

no not all the videos, just on "some" 1080p videos i ripped from youtube... i have 2014 macbook pro retina 15'', has 1 gb of video and 16 gig ram i7 processor

ps... my macbook has intel iris 1gb of video, it also did it on 3.0.0 as well... i think its cause of how i am ripping the videos..

It's quite likely that it is an issue with the keyframe distance of these video. It's not recommended to source your video content from sites like YouTube. If you're in Canada, USA, or Europe, I would suggest that you use an online video pool such as Promo Only, SmashVision, VJ-Pro, or Xtendamix.

I just started using VJ-PRO, its pricey but i love it soo much!!!! cause it also includes smash vision and xtendamix as well now for my membership on that site, so far I've just been using clubkillers.com which is great for video remixes and such, but they lack a lot of old school classic pop and hiphop which i like to play.... once again thanks... and oh yeah, the youtube converter sucks, BUT IT DID HELP ME DO THE JOB FOR THE TIME BEING but the converter doesn't come properly I.D. and tagged and also shitty video quality lol

I made a mistake... Vj-Pro has Smashvision as well as xtends (intros) And XtendaMix has them as well Both site is very pricey but well worth it Clubkillers is the cheapest option that has a ton of video remixes
