ME3: Videos Freezing

Issue still persists with 3.0.2 I disabled GPU acceleration and video now plays fine! Where do i go from here?

Glad to hear your first video gig went well. As far as the GPU acceleration and video stalling goes, would it be possible for you to zip/archive and e-mail (to: support@inklen.com ) your MixEmergency log file? You can find it at: ~/Movies/MixEmergency/MixEmergency.log Be sure to add a link to this thread in your e-mail so that I don't get too confused, hehe.

Thanks for all your effort with this Nick. Im sure you lost some sleep over it. Unfortunatly Im getting a wierd flickering now. I literally changed out every cable in my rig and the last thing to try was going back to ME 2.71. Boom works perfect. No idea what would be the cause of that, but like I said, I can still melt faces with 2.71. So its all good for now.

Hello dj_marv have the same Macbook Pro 15 "Retina Mid 2014 Serato DJ 1.7.5 and 3.0.2 ME I never see any problem all work great

Hi Nick, Last time we spoke, you mentioned that i should untick the GPU option in preferences and that has made the videos play well. However i ticked it again today just to see, lo & behold those particular videos started freezing again. I'm just trying to troubleshoot as they are mostly videos i encoded myself with FCPX and Handbrake. Could it be the frame rate? Can ME handle videos with > 30fps (greater than 30 frames per sec)

Ok. Think i know why now. Those videos had framerate of 60. I converted them again sticking to 25fps and they play well now.
