Good day all, I recently upgraded from ME2 (which I have only been using for 4-5 months) to ME3 and noticed a few things. I noticed the lagging on my preview monitors (which got better by reducing the preview rate to medium (bottom section of display tab under ME preferences/aspect ratio was left at "none")). I did however notice that my master output does some sort of "strobing" every 20-25 seconds for every video (so i'm guessing this is some sort of universal setting). I looked at Nick's optimization guide and the only thing I noticed that was different was the "reduce transparency" under the accessibility section was unchecked. Also I don't think some of the suggestion are realistic (like keeping the previews away from the waveforms or even reducing to 1 preview monitor). I never experienced these issues using ME2 so not sure how a more efficient release would need the end user to reduce their options or even have to be more mindful on screen placements. By no means tho am I trying to complain. This is a great application and because of the great experience I had with ME2 i jumped right onto ME3. I hope some of the small kinks get worked out soon. I will be back on the decks again tonight so if anything else arises I will check back in. Also note that I am not using a lot of the features. I do have some text scrolling and some content in the media library for MP3's to use.
