Codec question

YES - I did it. I just updated to the new version and tested on 2 videos. All is great with the exception of the video and audio slowly going out of sync in a slight form, nothing crazy. I'm sure with further tweaking it'll be perfect. As of now ITS GREEEEEAAAAAAT !

I am using a hacked DELL VOSTRO 1510 to run ME. Core2Duo 1.8, 2gig ram, 128mb intel onboard graphics. Im using handbrake to encode my videos as above, problem is when I run the videos on ME I get too many horizontal lines on the video on my output screen. what would be the problem? Im yet to try Mediacoder, might that help? Also I cant change the buffer for my M.E. it is at the minimum 200MB... When I run scratchlive the activity monitor shows 1500 memory for each. pliz hola

Hi illjay. We only support MixEmergency on Apple hardware. As far as I'm aware, installing Mac OS X on a non-Apple computer is in breach of the Mac OS X license agreement.

Ok, I agree. though the osx licence states osx should be installed on an apple labelled machine, so i put one of those stickers from my ipod on it. so can you pliz offer any help pliz, coz im experiencing shaky horizontal lines on my external output

That's strange - can you check that the e-mail that you used when you registered for the forum is correct. I can't help until I get more details from you. So, my first questions: What are the specs of your MacBook? Is it one of the new or older generations? Do you only get the horizontal lines when the output window is set to larger sizes? Do the lines go away if you reduce the Quality slider in the Display panel of the Preferences?
