djClint i think i was wrong before that ive said that 2.1.1 got no problems..well after how many days of 9 hours everyday use together with ME 1.5 i got problems with 2.1.1 got the same problems it keeps on retagging the files and the worst scenario is some of the files which is not a corrupt files after they retagged it it became a corrupt files and i can not play it...ill brought up this problems to serato team..:)
davidp Clint, this was a huge deal with me. I have posted on both this forum and Serato forums for months on this issue. The fix is go back to 2.0. That is what i did. I heard the fix was in 2.2 SSl which should be out soon
djClint well serato just got back to me today and keep on asking if its the first time for me to encounter this..told them yes it is..well what i did is revert back to 1.9.2 just to be safe
DJizz serato 1.9.2 is the best version in my opinion when I use serato 2.1 I get many audio drops and video drops. I called Rane and they said that many people where experiencing these problems. Im not planing to switch to any new version anytime soon. maybe wait till 2.5 or 2.?????? ">" No thank you tested both version with my macbook 13 and Macbook pro 15 (new style) same problems.
