mbp runs slow when connected to projector

I have a 15" mbp i5 processor. When i hookup to a projector, my computer seems like it runs slower. My wheel in scratch live seems like its barely goin around. Videos play fine. In me, my output quality is 100% should i drop that? Already adjusted my usb latency in scratch live, no cigar.

What are the dimensions of the projector? What year is your MacBook Pro? And does it have a discrete GPU (or is it an Intel GPU)?

If you're output has high-definition dimensions, then it may be struggling with these. You could try lowering it in the Display section of the System Preferences.

I tried that after we close. Will see how it goes tomorrow once i sober up lol

I lowered it to 720p
