Mix Emergency Settings

My video jitters during output onto my HD TV. The waveforms are ok no stutter there but when the video is projected onto the screen it looks almost like I have play and pause on at the same time. What should I have my settings at in Mix Emergency my Mac and HDTV? Here is my setup: Mac OS 10.6.4 / 2.8 ghz / intel core 2 duo / 4gb memory / Nvidia GE Force 9400 / 256mb Samsung HD TV / output settings is at 1440 x 900. But I have options of: 800x500 800x600 1024x640 1024x768 1152x720 1280x800 1344x840 1440x900 Rane TTM-57SL Mixer Mix Emergency 1.5 Thanks.

Do you have the MacBook Pro? I'm just wondering if you have the option to switch between the Nvidia 9400 (which is a fairly weak GPU) and another. Either way, you would be best to reduce the output size of your external monitor, as at 1440 x 900 you will be putting a lot of stress on your graphics processor. You can also try to reduce the Quality slider in the Preferences of MixEmergency. Let me know how you get on.

Yes, i have the Macbook Pro. It looks like I also have an option to switch to the Nvidia 9600m GT but not sure exactly how to do that. I did reduce the quality slider to 50%. The cache is at 1gb. I switched the output of the TV to: 720p. Also I had been stretching the screen to fit instead of just clicking full screen for some stupid reason. With some or all of these changes it looks like I am now good to go. It looks great! Thanks for your help
