How many Quartz compositions can i have in mixemergency?

Ok, i have more than 120 Quartz, and i would like to load them all in ME, i read in the Serato Forum that you can do that but i do not know how. As for now i can only load 16 Quartz in the media bank window, please help me!

You can load and save preset banks in the Presets window. It's not quite the same as having them load randomly from the 120 files, but you can have them load from 16 at a time. Where did you get your Quartz Compositions from? Most people don't have that many :)

OK, i'll try to do that. I I trade some videos for the Quartz, i have some good videos, all my music is from a record pool, thyt do all the remixes for the best New York latin raio station they have good stuff and i like to play music too thats why i want to use que Quartz.

Will ILoveQC quartz files load?

They will load, but they won't have the same audio reactivity as they do with Serato Video (as it uses slightly different names for QC data inputs).

Thank you for the quick response. Besides the qtz files ME provides. Are there any other quartz files that will have the same audio reactivity?Serato video is not an option I want to use.

None that you can purchase directly for MixEmergency. There are a few floating around that users have created. Do you know how to use Quartz Composer?

I'm sure there are a few - it's quite a complex program once you get into it though.

@Nick- You mentioned that qtz files built for Serato Video (like the ILQC ones) have different data input names, could you explain which of those we'd need to change to get them working with Mix Emergency? For an example file, how about the last ILQC pack released on the Serato forums?

I don't actually have a list of the Serato inputs (I believe they start with kSSV_... - or something like this). You can find the list of the ones for MixEmergency here: http://www.inklen.com/mixemergency/manual/quartzcompositions/ You're probably going to want to use the audio level, spectrum, position, and maybe velocity. I would suggest contacting ILQC directly. I don't know what conditions they sell the content under, and I'm not sure if they would be happy or not to have their copyrighted content modified.
