Crossfader Problem With DDJ-SZ

2014 MBP 2.5 ghz 16gb Ram ME works perfectly other than my crossfader is glitchy. It isn't smooth. I have the smooth crossfader box checked and I unassigned the crossfader from Serato DJ and I don't have Serato DJ enabled. I have tried a few other options from other discussions but they didn't fix the problem. I did try enabling Serato video and checking the crossfader on it and it works fine.

What version of Serato DJ and MixEmergency are you using? Why don't you have Serato DJ enabled? You will want to go into the MIDI mapping mode, click on the crossfader in MixEmergency, and make sure that nothing is mapped to the crossfader (i.e. the pop-up MIDI mapping window should be red, not green). Then, make sure that Serato DJ is running (and that you're able to play/scratch video using your controller). Is the crossfader still jumping around?

Serato 1.7.2 and ME 2.7. I can play/scratch video with no problems, I can crossfade to the other deck no problem, it's just if I do a slow crossfade it isn't smooth and you can see It on the output screens at the venue. It doesn't do it with Serato video. I will take a video of it later and send it so you can see what I mean. I did make sure nothing else was mapped to the crossfader.

So I unassigned all the faders in Serato video, then I made sure nothing was assigned in ME, closed everything out, restarted the laptop and everything seems to be ok. Odd, but everything is fine now. Thanks for the help. If it happens again I will definitely take a video of it.
