It sounds as though you've mapped your axiom MIDI key to the transition selection pop-up menu. What you need to do is: 1) open the MIDI assign window for the transition selection pop-up menu (option-click the control) and delete that mapping (using the "X" at the top left of the MIDI mapping window) 2) select the "Random" transition from the transiton selection pop-up menu. 3) This will then pop up a small button to the right of the transition selection pop-up menu - you need to map this button to your axiom MIDI key. Now when you select the "Random" transition you will be able to change the transition with your MIDI button. Though, the "Random" transition already assigns a new transition when a new video is loaded to either deck. For the auto-fade speed - go into MixEmergency's preferences, then to the "Transition" tab. Within this tab is a box labelled "Auto-fade", and a slider labelled "Duration" which allows you to set how long the auto-fade will take to complete. You can set the duration anywhere between 0 and 8 seconds.
