djjoeyjoe × I Just Upgraded to The Pioneer DDJ-Sz, I can't seem to get mix emergency to recognize The DDj-Sz and My Mac To recognize the DDj-Sz as an OUTPUT and InPUT in The System Preferences. NO SOUND, JUST VIDEO......Any ideas on how too solve these issues?

Nick I don't remember... but, it may have been that you can go into the Pioneer settings application and see if you are able to assign one of the channels to be the "REC OUT" channel. If so, you can then use this channel in MixEmergency for recording.
Nick You will need to change the channels that it is recording from (by default these are set to 1 and 2). If you open the Pioneer setup/configuration application (I think it should be in your Applications folder), are you able to select one of the channels as a "REC OUT" channel?
DJ_Special_K The Rec out is usually 9/10 on the SZ. Nick is correct using the Pioneer Set up config app, you will find all the information you need.

Nick So, you've set the channels from 1 and 2, to 9 and 10 in the Recording window of MixEmergency (where you can select the Device/Format)? I'm about to jump on a plane - so sorry if my next few replies are a little delayed.

Nick In MixEmergency, select Recording -> New Recording. On the window that opens, select the Pioneer DDJ-SZ as the Device, and select channels 9 & 10 as the recording channels.
