If I own Video SL already and us it, but want to buy Mix Emergency so I can Record mixes in studio with having both loaded on same laptop effect any thing??

You can have them both installed on your computer - that's no problem. The only thing you don't want to do is to have them both running at the same time - only because it will mean that your computer is doing twice the work it needs to (i.e. running two VJ applications that are both decoding and displaying video).

I have been using Video SL and found out the best way to record my sets are using Mix Emergency. Like cleats above , I am willing to buy it but will I have to start using mix emergency to do my sets instead of VSL ? Also will ME work with serato as a plug in ? I will be producing a recorded Video Dj set for televison every week and looking for the best way to provide the station with a quality recorded video mix . Using a macbook pro .

You can still use VSL to do your live sets (I assume that's what you mean). You only need to use MixEmergency to do any sets that you are recording. Yes, MixEmergency works as a plug-in application for Scratch Live. Let me know if you have any further questions :)
