No video in the ME windows

using 2.1.0 with Serato DJ on MBP. It had worked flawlessly. I used it a couple weeks ago with Serato SL, it also worked flawlessly but when I brought it back to SDJ now I have no video in the 3 ME preview windows ONLY WHILE using SDJ. It still operates properly with SSL. It seems like a setting or possibly a driver issue but I have looked and tested and not resolved it. Anyone have a similar issue or suggestion??

Try restarting your computer. Sometimes MixEmergency can have problems connecting to Serato DJ if an older version of Scratch Live has been used recently.

Which versions of Scratch Live and Serato DJ are you using?

Wait, you're using MixEmergency 2.1.0? That won't work with Serato DJ... You need at the very least MixEmergency 2.4.0 - though I would suggest using the latest, MixEmergency 2.7.1.

That did it, but it had worked with Serato DJ previously really well actually. Unless I had more than 1 icon on that mac... anyway I looked at my back up MBP and saw that the different versions of ME were installed so I updated to the latest on the problem machine so I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest ME and its good now. Have you seen any issues where ME 2.7.1 doesn't connect to SDJ after SSL use? Thanks for the help.

It can sometimes occur - but it seems to occur more often when somebody uses an older verion of Scratch Live, installs Serato DJ for the first time, and then doesn't restart their computer.
