I run this baby on: MacBook Pro 2,6GHz 4GB RAM Nvidia 8600 with 512MB dedicated ddr3 Mac OS 10.5.4 Rane TTM57 Serato Scratch 1.8.1 with VSL 1.0.2 And now absolutely lovin' it!!!! It's so sexy, I can't express myself.. Looking forward to real test on my approaching gigs in Switzerland so I can give a full feedback on it's stability.. This is a fine line link between Virtual DJ and Serato VSL!! With functions and transitions VDJ like and stability of Serato!! I was going back and forth from VDJ to Serato VSL. Hopefully no more:)

Hey! So I just downloaded the software and plan on using for my Saturday night gig. I've got the same gear as you. My only fear is if the performance slows down when using MixEmergency alongside Serato Scratch. On my laptop, it seems that the graphics & text seem to "stutter" or stall slightly. Like it is loading but not fully loaded. What I'm hoping is that this program doesn't slow down my Serato performance. I'm really excited about it but still have some reservations.

If you have the same (or better) MacBook Pro 2.6GHz, then you should experience the same performance when using MixEmergency and Scratch Live - unless you are encountering the "Low Memory Warning" from MixEmergency. Are you experiencing poor performance when playing videos? Or is it just when you have the text overlay enabled? By the way, I recommend starting a new thread on the forum with your specific problem so we can focus on it in a single discussion.
