VideoDJQ I'm posting this for a friend of mine. He's already uninstalled/deleted MixEmergency and reinstalled the app but he's still having the same problem! He says he hasn't changed and/or updated anything on his system. He says he launched MixEmergency a few days ago and everything was fine, now he launches it and this happens. Please take a look at the video as it's kinda hard to describe in text. Nick Ask him to close MixEmergency, change the folder named "MixEmergency", (in his Movies folder), to "MixEmergencyOLD", then restart. Does that help? If so, get him to archive and e-mail me the folder.
Nick Can you ask him to open the Console application. Next, open MixEmergency. Are there any messages/warnings/errors from MixEmergency in the "All Messages" section of the Console application?
Nick Ok - can you try this: - Open the Terminal application - In Finder, right-click on MixEmergency, select "Show Package Contents", then navigate to Contents -> Mac OS -> MixEmergency - Drag and drop the file at Contents -> Mac OS -> MixEmergency to the Terminal application and then push the enter/return key while in Terminal Does it run correctly?
VideoDJQ Hey Nick, thanks for getting back and apllogies for my delay in doing the same. However, no, it still isn't working. The following error message appears in the terminal window: "MixEmergency [1286:40507] launch path not accessible" I've attached a screenshot below if that helps at all.
Nick Perhaps you can ask him to open the Disk Utility application and try repairing permissions. If that doesn't help, try downloading the application again, then attempt to run it from the Disk Image (i.e. not copying it into the Applications folder).
