ME 2 loads with an effect enabled

I just recently made the switch to ME 2. Now whenever I use 2.6 .1 there is an effect that automatically loads every time. I can switch to other effects to change it up but whenever I switch it back to "none" the same default effect is enabled. I never had this problem with ME 1 and only seems to happen when I load the 2.6.1.

It sounds as though one of the Mixer FX effects is enabled. Go to the Window menu, then select Mixer FX. You can disable all the effects by disabling the pink and yellow buttons. Does that fix it?

Hi, it seems there is a similar problem. But this is proceed by the FX Sequenzer. After a first time using an effect from the sequencer section this problem is happen. I disabled all effects in it but there issomething like an flashing effect on the output screen. If the Mix knob is turning to off, the effect is gone. It only happens / reacts in the fx sequenzer panel after a first shot of an effekt from there. Also I disabled all effects in the fx mixer menu.

Can you post a screenshot of your FX Sequncer window while this is occuring?

Sequenzer: https://db.tt/iiDIyP6I FX Mixer : https://db.tt/djPmMcz3 It seems it will activate by using the fx section with the DDJ-SX. But I can't find the activated effect. Is there an "all-effect-off-button" because some videos will activate effects by itself on load. Sometimes it´s usefull (i.e. for activate some media clips) sometimes it´s not. hehe, sounds like a diva is working :o)

Can you go into the Preferences of MixEmergency and make sure that both the options to "Automatically load effects" and "Automatically save effects" are disabled. Does that help? If it doesn't help, can you please also post a screenshot of your Control Window (with the FX tab open in each of the 3 sections).

Hi Nick, I have a suspicion that it probably activated via the DDJ-SX. Without a connected MIDI controller can not reproduce the problem. I'm at the club at Wednesday and will look at it :)

oh, also a new "effect" : ME receive no midi signals from the DDJ-SX. with SeratoDJ all runs fine, but no effect will activate by pushing any button wich is set with the midi mapping tool before. But the video crossfader is running, if I´m think so. *confused*
