Crossfader using keyboard left and right arrow keys

Hi, Have a problem with video transition or crossfade. I don't use a midi controller to mix. i use regular cdj's. So as a result i crossfade the music with the mixer crossfader and i crossfade or transition the video with the left or right arrow key on the keyboard. sometimes there is no problem. However, other times it won't do it. i hold the arrow key down and nothing happens. When that happens i have to put the cursor on ME and hit the button to transition the video. Is there a command key that i can hit so the video fader works with the arrow keys when it doesn't respond? Sorry if it's confusing. I tried and read everything and have no answers. Thanks for reading and helping.

Hi, MixEmergency doesn't directly support crossfading the video witht the left and right arrow keys. There is a feature that will allow you to trigger the autofade via a global keyboard shortcut though (this way you can do it no matter which application has the keyboard focus). To set this, go to the Transition section of MixEmergency's Preferences. There is a box titled Auto-fade, and within this, a control labelled Hot-key. Click this, and then record a new keyboard hot-key (usually I use something like control-option-command-space so that I can just push the bottom line of keys easily).
