sample players video stuttering

Hey i am just trying the sample player and my samples stutter during playback.... im using serato dj, my cpu usage is not high on the green bar and sample is approx 4 seconds long and about 100meg any ideas? and its playing off a ssd in the macbook air

Have you tried using the HAP codec? It should significantly increase performance. I was able to max out the sample banks and trigger short one shot visuals like crazy without any hit on performance. Then again, all my visuals were converted to HAP.

100 MB is *huge* for a 4 second sample. What codec have you used to compress it? And what dimensions (e.g. 1280x720) is the video?

i think it was quick time!! i installed the hap codec but couldnt see it in after effects.... ill try again!! thanks ill let u know how i get on!!!
