Sample Player Audio

From the manual: 'The Sample Player is not linked directly to Serato DJ's, or Scratch Live's, SP-6 Sample Player, so it is also possible to use other audio applications to trigger/play audio samples alongside it.'' Some examples from audio applications that have you tried with sample player?

The easiest thing is to use it with Serato's software. But, well, any other DJ application that has a sample bank should work, for example.

You need to load the audio samples into the SP-6 (you can load MP4s, MOVs, etc). So Serato DJ/Scratch Live and your hardware take care of the audio.

I use Scratch Live, TTM-57 & Dicers. What I did was on my Scratch Live SP-6 samples that I have loaded. I have them Midi Mapped to my dicers, for the quick "DJ Lil Mario drops" that I have. With ME's Sampler, I loaded some of my "DJ Lil Mario Visuals" and then Midi Mapped them to the SAME as the audio. So now I have a visual with Audio for my DROPS. I hope I made sense.

Having trouble MIDI mapping my 64 to the sample bank....on the 64 the SP-6 is 'Layer 2' which is pre-mapped by Serato. My 'NON-PGM MIDI' is on my channel but it isn't picking it up for the Inklen mapping. Any suggestions???

When you push the button to trigger the sample in the SP-6, it should also be sending a MIDI message. Perhaps you can use an application such as MIDIMonitor ( http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/ ) to verify this?
