I think it's fair to say that many users of Scratch Live are very reluctant to make the switch to SDJ because of stability issues as well as missing features from SSL. Even with the new features being announced for version 1.7, SDJ is still mainly for controller DJs. DVS has been shoehorned into the program and is only workable with really expensive proprietary mixers. Can we expect to see a standalone DJ program from Inklen any time soon? Your GUI and implementation of MIDI in Mixemergency is comprehensive and elegant. Please consider making a program that can utilize DVS and doesn't have to be tied to proprietary hardware. A fully MIDI mappable software interface will make it compatible with tons of existing and future hardware. Also, tight integration with ME would make the overall GUI much more simple and appealing than having ME overlaid on SSL or SDJ. Think about it...
