Saving Effects in Preset Box for Media channel

Hello, I am trying to midi map my effects for deck A &B through the preset box. I have placed all the effects I want on channel "A" in Preset box 1. Afterwards, I am mirroring the effects unto Preset box 2 and saving them to Channel "B" . This way I can MIDI map them separately so i can use a different effect on each deck just like i did with the effect knobs. Unfortunately, it seems that once i save the effect to "B" on preset box 2 then all the effects on preset box 1 are now also on B. Is it possible for me to do it the way i want or is my only option to assign the "A" and "B" to their own pad and press it when i want to switch effects. I am using the latest version of mix emergency 2.6.1.01 Please advise when you have a chance. Thanks

There's a button at the bottom of the 1-12 buttons on the Preset window. Can you make sure that this is enabled? Next, remove your MIDI mappings and MIDI map the buttons on for Bank 1 (your 'A' presets), then go to Bank 2 of the Presets and MIDI map the buttons for Bank 2. Does that solve your problem?

Ok Thanks, I'll try when I get home. It is a bit confusing becuase the manual seems to be for an older version and doesn't show that button but it shows the "a" and "b" next to the effect name "blur (on beat)" on the image

Maybe I'm not understanding what you mean - would it be possible for you to send me some screenshots of the A/B settings that you have?

Thanks for the e-mail, the images make it much clearer. The problem here is that the setting of the A/B/Mid/etc... is not saved with the Preset. This way, you can save a Preset and then trigger it to any channel you wish to use. There is another way, however. You can manually set the target for each Preset by right clicking on it (which is what is shown on the manual page).
