Annoying hum when running video

I recently purchased a retina MacBook with and HDMI port for video out. I've noticed that when I plug in the HDMI though, I get a pretty bad hum. I'm assuming this is a ground issue? I've tried 2 other HDMI cables and still have the same problem. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how do I fix/get rid of it?

i get the same hum. Question DJQ: I have the MacBook Retina too, how did you get your hdmi port to output the ME Video out? Was there som seething you had? Also do you use Serato? thnx

maybe if you try with a displayport to HDMI adapter instead of plugging HDMI into the HDMI port? seems backwards I know but might isolate the macbook chassis from the shielded cable? Also, in case the TV you run it into is your home TV, try pulling the antenna cable off, or get one of these bad boys: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31ctcNQiBGL._SL500_AA300_.jpg (Ground loop isolator for the TV cable signal)

Try running your MacBook without the power cord attached and see if you get the hum. It may be a grounding issue caused by the way that MacBook power cords are made and the way they transfer the DC to AC power

Thanks for the suggestions fellas I'll give them a shot and let ya know. @ikhan I don't do anything different to get the HDMI to display the video out than I did using the mini display port to HDMI with the adapter. Also, yes I use both DJ and Scratch Live.

I only had sound issues when I put the add on pitch n time on my macbook, still not sorted out
