Audio stops completely, but serato and mixemergency contnue to run like nothing has happend

Hello guys!. Yesterday night my audio stop completely, but serato scratch and mixemergency were still running with no glitches! The only thing I came up with, is that it looked like to me, as if the MIXER (denon dnx1600) was kicked out by the programs. It may not sound right, but the only reason why i said that, is because when i restart the mixer (turned off and back on) everything seems to go back to working ok. (i had to also reeboot my laptop so that mixemergency could recognize my mixer's midi commands). I was running the 2.2 version. I just finished downloading your new 2.5 update, hopefully this will not happen again. ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED!

I have a similar problem with NS7II... after a few minutes of playback the sound gets very distorted... only way to fix is to shut down SDJ and NS7II and restart both. Only happens with ME running, not Serato Video It's the only thing holding me back from purchase, I've posted at Serato in hope of a solution as well SDJ 1.6.3 and ME 2.6, high spec MBP

Does this happen every time? Are you playing your videos from an external harddrive? What is the CPU usage of MixEmergency and Serato DJ? Or are there any other processes that you can see in the Activity Monitor that are taking up a lot of CPU?

I used to get sound dropout from time to time using Serato, I too have a high spec macbook i7, 8gb ram. It was definitely down to the Serato software for me as it also happened when playing audio only gigs. SDJ 1.6.3 is a bad version & I rolled it back to 1.6.0 which worked for me, hope this helps
