DJDannyBoi Im getting some stalling again and am wondering if my computer is getting too hot. Had a couple 100 degree days here and am noticing some stalling when the room and computer get hot. I lowered the buffer rate in ME and no luck. I have SMC fan control and have it on high. Noticing this is happening more on my right deck but the left stalls too. I have been using more and more HD Crooklyn Clan videos though. Crooklyn and Smash Vision are leaning towards going all HD... Is this a Mix Emergency problem with the video stall or is my laptop getting too hot? Im running touch OSC at the same time but no other programs are running while Im DJn/Recording. Macbook pro i7 8gb ram 10.8.5 OSX. 2.8GHz Processor 500GB internal hard rive with 250gb free 2TB External G-Tech Gdrive with about 100gb left as free space SMC fan control gets to 190-205 degrees
Nick If you're worried about heat, I would suggest that you buy a fan base, or something similar, to cool your laptop. I can't be certain what might be causing this, usually I would suspect there might be an issue with one of the drives or your videos.
fks1 @Danny did you ever figure out a solution? I'm having the same problem after downloading a few HD vj loops from Videohive.
Nick Can you give me a little more detail? e.g. is it only when playing specific videos? Where do you get those videos from, etc...
topcat i'm using VJ pro-Smashvision (hd 720) although i Don't think it has anything to do with the problem it kind of looks like it's doing a SlideShow,Really Long Lagging The music is fine, the waveform is fine i'm running the latest version on Scratchlive & The Latest Version Of MixEmergency Even When i Run ME By Its Self, Load Both Sides The Problem presents Itself When Everything Is Running I Have At Least 4GB Of Memory Free

DJDannyBoi Its happening to all my videos when I change tracks. It keeps playing the previous video for awhile after Ive changed songs. Audio sounds fine and waveforms are fine but the video isn't changing when it should. Sometimes take a couple minutes for it to actually change. I get the majority of my vids for Crooklyn and Smash
