Good question. The MIDI Clock can be received by MixEmergency from any MIDI Clock capable hardware or software (mixers, sequencers, etc). It allows you to override the internal beat clock of MixEmergency for things like the FX Sequencer, the Grid mode for effects, the beat-reative effects/transitions, and any Quartz Compositions that react to the Beat published input (for beat reactive-content). To set it up you'll need to make sure that MixEmergency is able to receive MIDI from your hardware/software, you'll need to start sending MIDI Clock from the hardware/software also. Then, in the MIDI Window of MixEmergency, you'll want to enable the option titled "Sync Beat to MIDI Clock". After this, all the beat displays in MixEmergency should be in step with each other - and in time with the MIDI Clock sent from your hardware/software. If you're using Scratch Live at the same time (it's not an issue with Serato DJ) it may be a little more complicated though - as the device is unable to send MIDI when Scratch Live is running.
