I LOVE QC QUARTZ COMPOSITIONS...

Hi guys, So i see Serato Video teamed up with i love qc, I did download the ones that are free from seratos website. i like the idea of using these in the media crate for when playing an audio only file. My question is i guess these don't work with ME. As if i load them in ME they do nothing at all. I tryed to load them in the ME media bank but its just a blank/black screen. So is there something that needs tobe changed in the Quartz to work with ME? and will they be able tobe audio responsive when run in ME? My macbook specs... Macbook Pro 15'' Late 2008 CoreDuo 2.8Ghz 6GB RAM 1TB Hybrid Hdd 512mb GPU OSX 10.6.8 Serato DJ 1.6.1 ME 2.4.0 Cheers.

You would need to change the names of the published inputs of the Quartz Composition. You might be better off contacting them directly though - to see if they have any MixEmergency compatible compositions.

Ok do you have some info on what i need to change? i guess its the ''kSSV_SeratoDataOutputFFTBins'' that needs changing?

There are a list of Quartz Composition input here: http://www.inklen.com/mixemergency/manual/quartzcompositions/ I'm guessing that this would be similar to the AudioSpectrum1 or AudioSpectrum2 inputs of MixEmergency.

hhmm ok i have tried messing around with it but no look. this is new to me! I'm not sure that I'm comfortable editing any of their files. The compositions are their work, and copyrighted, so they would need to modify them.

My latest composition "qtzSwapper" loads other compositions automatically from a folder. It forwards all inputs from mix emergency 1 to 1, but if you put a composition for Serato Video in that folder, it may work as well, since I'm translating the inputs where possible. www.radikarl.de/freecontent
