Media Bank Clips not showing on .mp3 files

I have some visual mp4 files that I made as fillers, and when I play an .mp3 file they are showing up on the screen, and I have the buttons on the software engageed but i had the media bank minimized. What am I doing wrong? great soft ware!, now I want to know how to use midi with my akai lpd8 is there a link somewhere on here? thanks

For the media bank: go into the advanced panel of the preferences. There is a pop-up menu, that has the title "When an unlinked audio file is loaded:", which you need to set to "Load media from Media Bank". This should fix the problem.
