I have recently purchased a NEW MBP and I have to say trying to figure out where your purchased serial number is, is impossible. I can't authorize my Mix Emergency on the new laptop without buying a new authorization code cause there is nothing linked to my profile. After I de-authorized it on my old MBP (according to a beta tester, that is all I had to do), whatever I could see of my old serial # disappeared. Why does it have to be this difficult to switch to a new computer? I completely understand copyright and bootlegging problems with software thats why I purchase everything. Was I supposed to write this serial number down and keep it in a safe place for years and years? Honestly who has to do that anymore when we have a profile on here that it should be linked to much like Serato. Luckily I have purchased Serato Video in the past and retrieving my serial # is a piece of cake. ME has been singly the most difficult software to transfer to a new computer. I am honestly disappointed to the fullest because now I can't use the software that I know inside and out but instead have to completely learn something I didn't care to use in the first place. I'm not bashing your product. You have a great product. However there is something to be said about this sort of inconvenience when with todays technology it can be avoided by linking your purchased serials to our profile. Now I cannot use the product I have purchased until someone decides to contact me back. If I didn't have serato video I would be stuck giving someone else another $200 just so I could continue mixing videos tonight.
