The effect and transition plug-ins will work with the demo version. You just need to install them by either double clicking on them (which will open MixEmergency), or by dragging and dropping them onto the MixEmergency icon that is in your Mac OS X dock while MixEmergency is running. A spectrum analyser type plug-in is awaiting release. In the mean-time there are other audio/spectrum reactive plug-ins, such as the "Spectrum Smooth Mask" plug-in.
