Well, if you don't see any levels on the recording meter beforehand, then obviously that means there is a problem somewhere. It could be your mixer, cable, or the selected input in MixEmergency. If you don't see it afterward (but have beforehand), then there may have been an issue setting up the audio output file, or you might be using channels other than 1 and 2 on a multi-channel audio interface. MixEmergency 1.6 has improved warning/error reporting in this regard - though it should not occur. And in regard to the multi-channel audio interface, there are also changes in MixEmergency 1.6 to address this.
