Exporting Recording - mp4 export comes out grainy/pixalized

Hi Guys When exporting to mp4, i am using the following settings: File format: MP4 (ISMA) Video Format: MPEG-4 Improved Data Rate: 256 Image Size: 352 X 288 CIF Frame Rate: 30 Key Frame: Every 24 Frames However the recording comes out very grainy and pixalized, If i export the recording via QuickTime Movie (H.264) (.mov) the export looks great, but now i have to convert to mp4 via another software program....(such a hassle) What setting do you suggest so I get a proper clear looking MP4 export??

There are a few things that you'll want to change here: 1) The image size. It's set to 352 x 288. At the minimum, you would want this to be 640 x 480 (for 4:3 output) or 640 x 360 (for 16:9 output). 2) The data rate is extremely low. You'll have to play around with this to figure out what works best for you, but something higer and closer to 5,000 would be better.

A few other things to note. I would recommend using the H.264 option, instead of MPEG-4 Improved. And, make sure that the dimensions that you're using in the codec match the dimensions that you have set on the MixEmergency export screen. You can also set this to "Current", which will automatically match these.

I had the same problem, thanx to this post it is now fixed. Thanx alot
