It sounds as though you are simply creating a video recording in QuickTime Player. So.... 1) Close QuickTime Player. 2) Make sure you've downloaded the DVInputStream file from this discussion: http://www.inklen.com/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=25 3) Open MixEmergency. 4) Drag the DVInputStream file onto one of MixEmergency's preview decks. A live stream from your iSight camera should now show up on the preview deck of MixEmergency.

Has anyone found a webcam or some kind of USB camera that is good in low light?

Logitech Quickcam Fusion Web camera apparently this works well in light according to its description, so ive gone ahead and bought it. Havent recieved it yet though

I'm having a problem with the new auto fade feature and this awesome webcam file. I like to put the webcam on while another song/video is playing. Scratch, show off, whatever during the song or mix. But when I auto-crossfade with a keystroke, the new auto-crossfade feature kicks and bounces it right back. LOL! DAMMIT!! :-P Guess I gotta turn off the new feature :(

Do you mean the feature that fades the video when one of the decks stop? I think you can MIDI map it (will have to check), so you could always toggle it on/off.

Yeah. That's exactly what I'm talking about. Too bad it doesn't read the webcam file as a "different file" rather than a video file, so it doesn't automatically go. It was funny the first time I dropped the webcam with this new feature on. LOL! I was scratching and showing off and it kept going back to other video. I was like DAMMIT!! Hahahahaha! Had to keep pushing my auto-crossfade button every 2 seconds while scratching. Wasn't fun, but I got a good laugh out of it. Sweet! But I stopped using my midi controller for a bit. Was thinking about the midi mapping features on the new Rane Sixty-Two. Since dicers are still on with me, maybe re-mapping all the loop funtions of the new mixer to control functions in ME? ;)

Looks like a bug (the velocity wasn't being set correctly for that particular source) - I think I've fixed it now.
