dry Hi ! What Encoders do You use for converting a 3D Animation / or Video to a "HD720p.mp4" that matches for SeratoVideo or M.E. ? I have tried with Handbrake (VSL preset 2.2) but the quality is very poor (artefacts, bad red color, etc ...) Raw material is coming with AppleProRes 4444 Can anyone please tell me right settings for Handbrake or another encoder. Or is there a special Handbrake preset for HD Videos out there ? (I´m on Mac OS 10.8.5, Perian 1.2.3, SL, Serato Video & M.E. latest)
djevo1 One method many use is sorenson squeeze and the presets made by c.flo a while ago. Essentially h.264, mp4, baseline, aac 41 kHz , and 5000 kbps. If alpha channel is needed, which will not appear in ME, use resolumes dxv codec
