also something that would be cool too. is if the ext outline can be like white(or any color) and then the inside can be transparent =] that way u can have a big scroll going on and still the video and text

how about being able to apply vid fx to the text layer? or even overlay? say the video is playing normally while the text rotates, on one or two axis'? or video plays normal (or maybe with some fx) and the text/logo has bass blur?

Sounds cool - I think at the least there need to be more effects for the overlay section. Other than "bass blur" and "outline", what sort of effects/animations would you like to see for the text overlays? Obviously not all of the regular effects really make sense for the text area (e.g. the kaleidoscope would make it unreadable).

how about some lumakey or chromakey type thing? what i'm trying to get at is what if instead of color, you use an ambient clip to fill the text? or would that make it too unreadable? might be cool tho....text filled with flames or some starburst thing... or maybe invert or solarize the current video that the text is going over (or is this too unreadable as well?) or make the text jiggle when the bass hits...with adjustable jiggableness...would be cool if the bass eq knob adjusted the jiggableness. bump zoom feedback zoom blur
