I'm using a Late 2011 Macbook Pro with 16 gig of memory and a 750 hard drive. Whenever mixing my Promo Only & Video Tools videos out of a 1TB Lacie Rugged External Hard Drive, via firewire 800. my system continues to stutter and this past weekend it froze on me 3 times, around the peak hours of the night! I'm using Serato 2.4.3 along with MixEmergency 2.1.0 Do i need to upgrade to the new 2.2? in my case, will i have to pay for that update? Can anyone please help me figure out a way to FIX this problem? Thanks in advance for your help and look forward to hearing from anyone soon!
