MBP 17inch i7 Mountain Lion 10.8.3 8gb ram 500gb hard drive with 200gb open space Im using an external drive to run the video Gtech Gdrive 2tb connected with fire wire 800 Dont see any file writing in the status bar. Noticed that its a "HD" video that starts the stalling and its only stalling while I record and not while Im in regular play.
