Firewire Camcorders for live feed

Does anyone have any recommendations for a firewire camcorder that I can use in Mix Emergency for live feed. The internal webcam feature seems useless. Would love to be able to have a camcorder to project images of the crowd. I tried the isight camera but the quality of the picture wasn't all that great. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

yes the isight camera is not that good.some where using usb HD webcamera...forgot the name

haven't tried...but i theorize that it should work...if u use a firewire vid input card...which can accept any video input (like rca feed from a vid cam or dvd player) as long as quicktime can recognize the card
