transitions and memory problems

Lately I've been having problems with my transitions,the problem is don't know if its a problem with ME or the version of scratch live I'm using..example,say like the spinning cube transition,when the crossfader on the ttm mixer is all the way to one end the cube should not continue to rotate.in my case it still does so does afew other transitions..Do you have any. Suggestions for this?Another thing I've been having video freezes since I upgrade my memory from 4 to 6gb.before that the videos were fluid..I think I will revert to 4gb

What version of Scratch Live are you using? And what version of MixEmergency? A simple fix for the transition issue would be to change the crossfader "cut-in" distance. You can find this in MixEmergency -> Preferences -> Transition -> Fader cut-in. Regarding you video freezing issues: I would revert and see if things go back to normal, and if not, then we can start trying to figure out what else might be going on.

im using serato version 2.4.2 and ME version 2.1 beta...will try to change the fader cut-in and see what happens.

Reverted bck to my 4gb ram(2gb per slot)yesterday,I had enough videos which were freezing even the ones that used to play without problems..any suggestions on what to do now?

Have you batch analysed all of the videos with the version of Scratch Live that you're currently using? If so, are you seeing any file writing messages in the status bar at the bottom of Scratch Live during these freezes?

all files have been analysed,haven't bn paying attention to the status bar...

One other thing. Can you download and install an app called smcFanControl. With this you can monitor the temperature of your MacBook - it's possible that it might be overheating. If it is, then you should check that the fans are working, and that the air vents in your Mac are clear.

For sure you got the old macs, what i did before in when doin a set i max out the rpm of the fan to 6000rpm left n right..that really helps..

i got the mid 2010 macbook pro and a dell xps corei7.don't think ill be getting another macbook anytime soon..apart from 1 or 2 problems here and there it gets the job done.
