Hi gregc72, I realize it looks like I created this quartz composition from my post but it's not mine. I was just sharing the information that I found. But what I think you need to do is to change the year to next year. I believe it has 2011 set in the quartz composition so if you set it to 2014 (might be 2013, I can't remember), the countdown should start. Once the quartz hits midnight in that particular year, the 'Happy New Year' will show up.
