ME on Macbook Pro Retina

Just got the macbook pro Retina. Specs are 2.9GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 (Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz) 768GB of flash storage. IT HAS NOTHING ON IT! In the past I have used ME, worked great until the faders became unchained on rane mixers with the serato updates and I neglected to keep a solid backup. My 2.3.3 with serato Video is now unexpectedly quitting and going haywire. Did so at a gig last night and ME 1 saved me. I now want to see if it's possible to use ME on my new machine and be done with serato video all together. Is it possible? I want to be very careful about what i install on this new computer..Would i need the upgrade to ME 2? What version of serato do I need? serato video or just the demo? and exactly which RANE and pioneer mixers would work (with midi fader capability)? I only use my SL box, the 57, 61, 62, and 68, and pioneers... Thanks in advance for the help

At this stage I would recommend upgrading to the latest version of MixEmergency and using Scratch Live 2.4.2. You don't need to have Serato Video installed at all. All of your Rane mixers will automatically work with the faders of MixEmergency (unless running Scratch Live 2.4.3, which you can find more information on here: http://www.inklen.com/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=1101&page=1 ).
