Media Bank Ideas

So I'm looking for ideas on more media bank files. Currently I use quartz files solely in my media bank. But I'm board of them. Now i had the idea of making a quartz file that loaded a new quartz files every 30 seconds. then I would not be limited to the 12 I am currently. Recently I have been working with lots of visuals. I would like to have a quartz file that loaded video clips in from a folder or something like that. I havent figured it out if its possible. Anyone have any ideas? Or nick any eta on a Media bank update?

No. I think I've said before that there won't be any changes to the media bank in 2.2.

There is a composition importer patch in QC, I've used it in my own comps and it seems to work well.

Oh really. I havent seen any posts on stuff coming out in 2.2. I'm with Skinnyguy Who cares about 2.2 we want 2.3!!!!!!!!!!! Hey Nick I really think you should reconsider working on the media bank. With SV adding the ability to make a media create so you could have 1000's of video clips in it that play randomly, Well its the first time I know of that anyone can say SV has something up on ME. And well as a dedicated ME user (fanboy) This is just unacceptable. :) Your way smarter and ahead of the curve in DJ'ing with Video software. I'm sure you could come up with a 10x more amazing media bank. If you need any suggestion on how a more amazing media bank could be created all you need todo is ask.

seriouscyrus Do you know if theres a way to have a quartz file load and play video clips. I have seen qtz that load and display pictures from a folder i would like todo the same thing with video files.

code:E: I haven't tried it, but sure it's possible with a movie importer, it probabaly wouldn't take too much to adapt an exsiting photo comp and just replace the image loader with a movie loader, might need a little extra work to get them to start/stop..
