djgaliffa I just installed a 1 x 4 hdmi to cat 6 splitter http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10113&cs_id=1011307&p_id=8159&seq=1&format=2 Then I have adapter from hdmi to mini dvi to MacBook Pro Is there anything I can do to fix the choppy screen it seems like it only bogs down ME when I plug into the splitter when I just plug mini dvi to hdmi 1 thing like projector it fine ? Any help will be great

Nick Well, those older MacBook Pros won't handle HD video quite as well. What OS version are you using? If possible, I would upgrade to Mac OS 10.8, and it will handle the HD output dimensions a little better.
Nick It's likely that you have Serato Video set to the Medium, or High quality setting - which is a lot lower than HD. You could try lowering the Quality slider in MixEmergency's Preferences, and see if that helps also.
