Instagram feed like Twitter feed using Quartz

I really have to take that last comment back...if you're using a 15" or 13" MacBook Pro your screen is probably 16:10 so at full screen you would see the difference.

@vjblaze, where did you put the blue box that comments appear on?? I want to change the size and color but I can't find it. Nvm, I found it!

i am still having the size issue, it leaves 1/3 of the left lower 3rd empty as the plugins starts to the right of the screen

Is anyone else getting a delay with the pictures?? Sometimes it gets so bad the image is 1 update behind if that makes sense. For example an image will be up from Instagram with someone else's twitter comment.

To answer my own question: If you run both IFTTT Recipes (the instagram to Flikr and the Twitter to Flickr) to the same flickr account, they work simultaneously. SWEET

thanks for this awesome post, i'm did everything correctly (im sure not since im having problems ha) but when i do my hashtag #CassidysFW it comes up as #CbuttidysFW censoring the "ass" part in Cassidys LOL anyway i can tweek the censored words? also instead of my handle it shows "posted" instead of my username thanks in advance i know this post is kind of old

@blaze, how do i get the twitter or the IG handle of the posters too show. When i downloaded your qtz and ran it for the first time it showed the various usernames of the respective posters, but once i replaced the RSS feed with mine...Its my name showing up there.

its all to do with the iftt rules and tags... i have some pictures on my desktop i can upload to show you how it should look like, but I'm on a gig at the moment

@philDJ when you get a chance can you show me how to get it working the way i want. It keeps showing my name instead of the handle of the actual people (instagram/twitter) posting. I've set it up as advised..copied the RSS of my flickr account and thats the only thing i replaced in the quartz file.

I'm trying to create the instagram recipe on IFTTT but its not giving me the option of "If Anyone Tags #XXXXX" Its only giving me options like "If you Tag #XXXXX" Any ideas?

Hey guys, If you are having issues with social media display, theres a program that works perfectly for that called JammText. It provides a hashtag and phone number for people to SMS/MMS to, as well as displaying instagram and twitter posts to the screen. And it can all be shown over a video thats already playing- everything happens simultaneously. I've been using it for a few months now and its been dope.
