CDJ's firing and scrolling ME effects

Nick, Just returned from the DJ TImes show with a new pair of CDJ's. Installed them, and find that my pitch sliders are scrolling deck effects. I've never assigned anything to these, but use different combinations of gear and systems with the same computer. I wouldn't be against a fresh load up if you can talk me through that. Love your software, big fan. Glad things got sorted. Rick

Hi Rick, Are you able to change the MIDI channel for the CDJs? I know you can do it on the CDJ 2000s.

I can pick 1 through 16 I believe judging by the owners manual for them. Thanks RIck

Changed to midi ch 2 and all is good. Now all I gotta do is get my decks to save the midi changes and I'll be in good shape. Thanks again

Rick, a suggestion for you. Put a text file on your desktop and list witch devices are one what channel. Pick a Channel for each device. It will help with this problem in the future. I use 8 Channels in rig. It helps to make sure you dont have this issue in the future with other software and controllers.

Thanks, thats a good idea especially when using a variety of devices which I do.
