SSL stops playing

I'm not sure if this is a SSL problem or a ME problem but this only occurs when I have Mix Emergency running so I'm assuming its the latter. Every now and then when I load a track onto SSL the track will not play. The only thing that happens is visually I see the virtual deck spinning backwards AND VERY slowly. My CDJ's are spinning normally but visually on SSL it spins backward and I hear that timecode hum. The only way to correct this is to shut SSL down and reload it. It use to happen once a month but now it is happening more often. Please help, here are my specs: Macbook Pro OS 10.6.8 Rane TTM-57 CDJ1000 Mix Emergency 2.0.1 SSL 2.3.3

That's odd. I would doubt MixEmergency could be causing this. The next time it happens, check the SL setup screen to see what signal is coming in (you should see nice round control tone circles on both channels). Then check to see what the tracking meters are showing.

or check that somewhere along the line that your signal isn't getting a short, like bad patch cords or something
