kidjay Hi Nick, so I jump aboard the Mac Retina Display band wagon and did a migration from old mac to the new Retina Mac and everything transfer over perfect with no issue EXCEPT ONE! Now the text in ME only shows the top half of the lettering. Doesn't matter what font or size I use everything is only showing half of the font???? I've tried everything possible. Deleting ME and starting over, download 1.7.2 and it doesn't address the issue. Everything else works in ME perfectly and even looks way better but this is a major glitch for me and where I play. I'm assuming it might have something to do with the graphic card??? this is only a guess though.....Please help get this fixed please. (I'm hoping its something simple that I'm missing) Here are the specs and graphic card. *2.7 intel Core i7 *16 GB *Nvidia GeForce TG 650M 1024 MB *Lion 10.7.4 Thank you Nick
djsupafly I just purchased ME today to use on my retina macbook and I'm having the same issue with the text. Another issue is the effects are not working at all. When will you have this fixed?
Nick There will be a fix out soon for the text issue. Regarding the other effects, can you post a screen shot of how you have them set up? I haven't heard of any issues with the new Retina MacBook Pro laptops regarding effects.
skinnyguy if i remember right, on the serato forum, the guys (not serato, but the forum members) aren't recommending the retina mbp's, esp for video mixing. don't remember why...
djezhutch I have a problem with my text being displayed in the middle of the screen after I have recorded the mix. I put it at the bottom of the screen when I was recording my mix, then after I rendered it, the text showed in the middle of the screen. Please help!
djdavidtaylor I am having the same issue. The text appears dead center of my export window after recording has taken place and rendering has begun. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Nick It appears that there is a bug in the text recording system. Any text placed below the center when recording will default to being placed in the center. I've managed to reproduce the issue and fix it for the next release.
